Kinds of works
In addition to underwater cleaning complete hull and polishing of propeller, MARINE SERVICE, S.L.U. also performs other kinds of underwater work, such as:
UNDERWATER ELECTRICAL WELDING
- Repair of fissures in the hull, nozzle, rudder etc., making a jointing abrasive stone, drilling the edges of the fissure and finally, welding with electric welding.
- Filled with holes with electric welding in the nozzle.
- Plugging of loss of water through the welding of a plate of naval plate by the outside of the hull with underwater electric welding.
UNDERWATER OXYCUT
- We can make the cut of any submerged part of the ship: bilge keels, domes, rope guards, zinc anodes…
TAIL SHAFT CLEARANCES MEASUREMENT
- Dismantle the rope guard and measure the clearances of tail in the high and low parts, assembling again the thimble with underwater electric welding or screwed.
ZINC PLATES RENEWAL
- Renewal of zinc anodes by setting them to the hull with underwater electric welding.
- Zinc anodes renewal screwing them to the hull.
PLUGGING OF GRATINGS, DISCHARGES, ECHO SOUNDERS ETC.
- Plugging of echo sounders and discharges, especially designed by our technicians, allowing dismantle the echo sounder or valves from inside of the ship to be repaired or replaced by a new one. The cords of welding or parts of the hull x-ray screening.
SPECIAL SERVICES
- Thickness measurement with ultrasound equipment.
- Special inspection of welding fillets or parts of the hull with x-ray screening.
WORKS IN PLATTFORMS
- Works in platforms with special tools.
